Egyptian Marble
Egyptian marble is natural stone quarried in Egypt, known for its warm beige, cream, grey and brown tones and its consistent quality. It is used in homes, hotels, resorts and commercial buildings around the world.
Wadi Degla has worked Egyptian quarries since 1980, when our founder opened the first quarry on Galala Mountain. Today we cut and finish Egyptian marble in our own factories in Egypt, covering more than 27,000 square meters, and ship it as slabs, tiles and blocks to projects worldwide. Below you will find every Egyptian marble we supply, followed by answers to the questions buyers ask most.

Frequently asked questions
Is Egyptian marble good for flooring?
Yes. Egyptian marbles such as Galala, Sunny and Triesta are widely used for indoor flooring in homes, hotels and commercial buildings. For outdoor or wet areas, a honed, brushed or sandblasted finish gives better grip than a polished one.
What is the difference between Egyptian and imported marble?
Egyptian marble is quarried and processed in Egypt. Imported marbles, from partner quarries in Italy, Turkey and other countries, add colours and veining that Egyptian quarries don't produce, such as pure whites with bold veins. Wadi Degla supplies both, so you can source a whole project from one supplier.
Can I get a sample?

Do you export Egyptian marble?
Yes. We export slabs, tiles and blocks with protective packing and full export documentation to the GCC, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
How do I get a price?
