How to Buy Marble from Egypt
Egypt is one of the world's major sources of natural stone, and Wadi Degla has exported Egyptian marble and granite since 1980. This guide explains how ordering from us works, from choosing a stone to receiving your container.
How ordering works
Choose your stones
Browse our Egyptian marble, Egyptian granite and imported stones, try them on real rooms with the Material Visualizer, and request samples of the ones you like.
Send us your requirements
Tell us the stone, finish, thickness, sizes (slabs, cut-to-size tiles or blocks), quantity and destination port. If you have drawings or a project schedule, send them too.
Receive a quotation
Our sales team prepares a quotation for your order and answers any technical questions.
Production and quality control
Your order is cut and finished in our factories in Egypt, with quality checks on the stone and on the finished pieces.
Export packing
Slabs are grouped in bundles of 8 to 15 pieces in reinforced wooden frames, or loaded on wooden bars for manual loading. Tiles go into foam-lined wooden crates or onto strapped pallets. Polished surfaces are protected with plastic sheets, and every crate and pallet is labelled with sizes, thickness and order details.
Shipping and documents
Our export department coordinates container loading, freight forwarders and customs documentation, so your shipment clears customs in your country without delays.
Where we export
We ship natural stone to the GCC, Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America, with professional logistics, secure packing and full export documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply both Egyptian and imported stone?
Yes. Besides our Egyptian marble and granite, we supply imported marble and granite from partner quarries, so a whole project can be sourced from one supplier.
Can you produce custom sizes?
Yes. We supply standard sizes, and our factories can cut custom dimensions to your drawings.
How are slabs protected during shipping?
Slabs travel in reinforced wooden bundles or on wooden bars, with plastic sheets between polished faces, and are strapped so they don't shift at sea.
How do I start?
Contact our sales team with your stone, quantities and destination, or request a sample from any stone's page.
