Marble & Granite Packing Standards
Packing Marble & Granite Slabs
Wooden Bundles
Slabs are grouped in bundles of 8–15 pieces depending on thickness. Each bundle is secured using reinforced wooden frames and loaded into 20-foot containers using overhead cranes. Polished surfaces are protected with plastic sheets to prevent any scratches during transit.
Standard Slab Packing
For manual loading, slabs are placed directly inside the container on wooden bars for stabilization. Long slabs are arranged in two large groups, while shorter slabs are arranged in four compact groups to ensure balanced container weight. Plastic sheets are added between polished faces to prevent friction damage.

Packing Marble & Granite Tiles
Wooden Crates
Tiles are selected, sorted, and placed inside wooden crates lined with foam for shock absorption. Each crate is labeled with the tile size, thickness, and order details. Small and delicate tiles (such as 12"x12") are additionally packed inside Styrofoam boxes.
Wooden Pallets
Large tiles are packed on high-strength wooden pallets wrapped with plastic and strapped with rubber-protected belts to avoid chipping. Each pallet includes a detailed label containing the tile count, dimensions, and thickness.
